DIY Deodorant Workshop

Deodorant packaging.jpg

Just in time to make your sustainable stocking stuffers!

The lymph nodes in our armpits play an essential role in our body's immune system and commercial deodorants feed chemicals (like aluminum components, parabens and sodium lauryl sulfate) directly into them.

Learn about our ingredients and make your own natural deodorant without toxins. This recipe is efficient even in Dubai's heat and is very easy to remake at home.

There are many benefits to making your own cosmetics:
Tweaking the recipe to suit your preferences,
Knowing exactly which ingredients are used,
Reducing waste and even saving money!

You'll leave with:
1 container of deodorant (roughly 6 month's worth)
The original recipe and variations to continue making it at home.

Price: 75 dhs

When: Saturday January 18th 5-6pm

Where: Kave in Alserkal Avenue

About the Venue: Kave is our favorite hangout in Dubai! Nestled between galleries in the heart of Al Serkal, Kave is a fair trade shop, upcycled café and community space for creatives all rolled into one! Come in early to check out their one-of-a-kind upcycled guitars and bicycles!
