As part of the programming for Sharjah Art Foundation's annual book fair, Focal Point, we are hosting a free introductory bookbinding workshop:
After a brief introduction to different methods of bookbinding and the history of each method, participants will learn the skills and techniques required to bind a book.
By the end of the workshop, they will know have created a book using the techniques of Japanese stab binding using only paper and thread.
