During this slow art tour commissioned by Alserkal Avenue, we will be putting pen to paper. Calling on exercises designed to trick our brains into alternative ways of seeing, we will focus our attention on a selected few artworks, pondering details initially overlooked. Bring along your sketchbook - this is going to be fun!

About Slow Art Walks:

Aligned with ‘alternative ways of being’ and mindfulness, Alserkal Art Week Slow Art Walks invite the visitor to take the time to slow down and reflect, not to rush to unpack or understand. We’ll be joined by critical voices from the arts—both emerging and established—to welcome audiences to spend an evening with artworks in the Avenue. This spring’s art walks will last 45 minutes each and will take place on 28 February, 4 March, and 5 March.
